Models

Model-making has been a significant since creating The Beach in 1985 – and are an interest that I can easily trace back much earlier than that and, in particular to a school/museum project in grade nine. In equal measure I use models as a means of planning/proposing individual works or exhibition ideas and as artistic works in their own right. Ever present in the models are questions of scale and the imagining of complex spatial configurations. Please click on an image below to view a larger version.
